Webster says dance means to move the feet and body rhythmically, usually in time to music; To leap or skip, especially in an emotional manner; glide, step or move through a set series of movements.
I owe my dancing skills to my earthly father and the gentlemen I danced with as I was growing up. Yes, I was in the world years ago dancing in the flesh but my heavenly Father had His eyes on me. Now, look what the Lord has done. He pick me up and turned me around and now my feet are on solid ground. Hallelujah! Praise God! Now, I dance for Him and only Him.
Our dance, as spirit-filled believers, should reveal and reflect the Father, His kingdom , His character and love. It should represent in the physical what is going on with the dancer(s) spiritually. There should be an expression of the communion between the dancer's spirit and God. You have to have a relationship with the Father. People have told me that they seen Jesus dancing right with me. Jesus guides my every step as I dance before Him.
Praise and Worship should be done decently and in order. Worship God in Spirit and in Truth. (John 4:23-24) Before you dance you should fast and pray. Anoint your head, feet, and hands pray that you will hear what the Lord is telling you to do. He may tell you to run around the church or go up and down the aisle dancing, clapping, leaping, spinning in circles or skipping. Listen for God's voice and direction.

Dance for a reason; for your healing, your finances, for yokes and bondages to be broken, for your children, or someone elses health someone salvation, spiritual warfare, for victory or just to give God all the Praise, Honor and Glory He deserves.

Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. For the Lord thy God is in the mist of thee, for He is Mighty! Pray and Fast! All things are possible with God.
